The International Technology Summit Spotlights Strides in Blockchain Community Development

The event will be hosted In partnership with the Bermuda Government and the Canadian Consulate General in NY, and organized together by the Blockchain Triangle and Bermuda Asset Management. The international technology summit will unite the innovators, regulators, and executives from Canada, USA, and around the world to explore the latest breakthroughs in Blockchain, made possible by Bermuda digital asset regulations. Participants will join Penrose in discussing the progress of the Fintech Island ecosystem and work done to complete Hon. E. David Burt, JP, MP; Premier of the vision of the Bermuda digital currency for the island. This event will also celebrate the success of the new digital asset business license and the second cohort kickoff startup in Innovation Innovation Incubator (i3).

The main component of the International Technology Summit this year is the main conference on Wednesday, March 9. The conference will consist of panel discussions that include topics that include Crypto & Defi, Stablecoins & CBDC conditions, detention of digital assets, and continuous innovation. The opening presentation will be a conversation between Bermuda and Canadian government leaders in discussing the progress of their administration made in technology and innovation. The main presentation will be a conversation between the CEO of Algorand, Steve Kokinos, and Chair & CEO of 3IQ, Fred Pye, where they will share their future plans to allow adoption of sustainable digital assets.

The International Technology Summit will also include a Startup Pitch contest on Friday, March 11, with opportunities for promising entrepreneurs to win conditional entries into the i3 incubator, along with other prizes. In addition to the Pitch contest, this week will display Fintech’s education day on Tuesday, March 8 which was held in partnership with the Bermuda Government Economic Development Department on various topics of digital assets and Blockchain to prepare audience members the following day.
