Channel M&A Titan Converge Technology Makes 27th Acquisition
While many solution providers try to grow organically, convergent technology solutions are focused on lasers to foster traces of sales and markets through acquisitions.
Toronto-based solution provider that grows fast Wednesday acquires the 27th company since 2017 with the purchase of German-based VISKOM GMBH. This acquisition continues the expansion of the trail of a stable conversed technology market outside North America, according to CEO of Shaun Maine (Figure).
“Converge is eager to start 2022 with another opportunity to continue our global expansion and it is better to serve our clients in Europe,” Maine said in a statement. “Besides RedNet AG, Visucom will strengthen our presence in Germany and allow us to foster convergent names outside North America.”
The company last month acquired the PDS parent company, which specializes in managed services, digital workplace platforms and company solutions.
In 2021, the convergent technology solution obtained mobility and application specialists inc.; Dasher technology, one of Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s biggest channel partners in North America; Consultation system and system specialist Accudata; LPA software data analysis company analysis; International managed IT providers; Analytics Consulting Firm Carpedatum; And infrastructure service providers and multi-cloud Vicom Computer services.
Stock Converge technology solutions traded up 1 percent Wednesday at $ 8.50 per share. The company provides various kinds of sales and regional services around sophisticated analysis, cloud, security and digital transformation.
Visucom provides professional screens, interactive boards, loudspeakers, cameras, projectors, display, and media control targeting education and public sector markets. The 35-year-old company also offers installations, training, and consulting in place.
VISKOM and convergent technology solutions have partnered over the past few years. The company will jointly increase their audiovisual offers.
Convergent Technology Solution President Greg Berard said the company was building one of the largest solution providers in North America with a focus on selling cross.
“Our goal is to truly build a very strong North American solution provider by acquiring and bringing these teams together to eventually push more value with their client base,” Berard said in an interview with CRN last year. “And our entire strategy has been built on the premise that we will get a company with real client relationships, very strong vendor partnerships, and unique skills and abilities that we all can have one organization.”
