The Flipspaces Story – Reimagining Interior Design with Technology
In a different world, it is a vision that makes individual stands apart. After trial in the previous entrepreneurial assignment and with the exit of a successful building scale in Ed-Tech behind him, Kunal Sharma had a Moment of Eureka while checking the multi-player game at home. Almost serendipitus, he met Ritesh, who was the head of the tech of the boutique gaming startup, in the jam session remembering interest in them in music.
A little backward, the founders in FlipSpaces have been friends from their IIT Bombay days. “We started as brand supply and distribution of products in furniture and furniture. While the business is fine, there is something wrong – a big idea! That’s the time when the entire interior design industry is not consolidated without novelty in customer experience. There is no synergy between the design of the room , product supply and project execution in the interior design room. It is a fragmented value chain with various companies that offer food services. What is less is a smooth customer experience that can be delivered at the scale level. “Ankur Muchhal said, Co-Founder and Head of International Business .
Cut up to 2015, when the team starts working on ‘big ideas’ around technology, they believe they have broken code to take consumer experience in interior design to the next level supported by the vision of multi-module technology products. Combining strength with the technology team through early rent, and with the Ritesh entered as the head of the product officer, FlipSpaces was born as the brand of the first interior design technology.
“Until now, we have sufficiently reluctant to glare media. We believe our work must be a funnel for the brand,” Kunal reflects.
Behind the vision driven by their technology, FlipSpaces Tech-Platform has now served more than 5+ million SQFT from a global commercial space for famous companies cross-firms, start-ups, MNCs, retail brands and SMEs such as BSH, Nobroker, Open Finance , Times Group, Aditya Birla, Instaoffice, Bharatpe, Nivea, Oppo, P & G, Reebok, Royal Enfield, Razorpay, Bouncing and PlaySimple Games in India and the US. These ventures target categories in offices such as commercial, retail, hospitality, education and health care institutions, among others and provide a one-roof solution and capable technology for its clients to design and build.
